I’ve been living in Musaffah for about a year now and I’m still using the dealer for everything because I don’t know where else to go. The problem is I’m getting tired of paying their rates for basic stuff, and the last visit they tried to convince me I needed work done that a friend later said was completely unnecessary. I’m not looking to cut corners, I just want somewhere honest that actually knows BMWs. A colleague from work mentioned there’s reliable BMW maintenance in Musaffah that a lot of people in his building use, and he swears by them for routine stuff like oil changes, brakes, and the annual service. Has anyone here tried an independent place in this area? I’d love to know if they’re actually good with diagnostics too, because my 5 Series has been throwing a warning light that comes and goes and I’m worried the dealer will just start replacing parts until it goes away. Any recommendations or warnings would be appreciated, I’m not in a rush but I’d rather sort this out before something small turns into something expensive.
