My wheels seem to attract brake dust like nothing else, and within a week of cleaning they’re back to looking dull and grey. I’ve tried different cleaners and brushes but it’s a losing battle, and I’m starting to worry the dust is etching into the finish over time. I’m near Musaffah so I’ve been looking into Quality rim coating and wheel protection near Musaffah, but I’m wondering whether a coating actually makes brake dust easier to remove or if it’s more about protecting against scratches. Has anyone had their wheels coated and noticed a real difference in how easy they are to clean? Also, does it protect against the dust causing damage, or just make it look nicer between washes? I’d rather understand the benefit before spending money on it.
